Whilst black doors can create a dramatic and stunning look, they can also overpower smaller spaces. However, the Surrey’s large glazed panel helps you create a brighter feel by allowing light to flow between rooms. This traditional design features a single clear toughened glass pane compliant with BS EN standards, ensuring both durability and safety when you install this door.

This elegant door comes prefinished in black, ready for immediate installation upon arrival. The finish, applied to a genuine oak veneer, offers a textured look and luxurious feel. The Surrey door by CLIMADOOR is finished in RAL 9005, Jet Black, ensuring easy touch-ups around hinges or other fittings if needed.

Matching unglazed standard doors and fire door options are available, allowing you to create a cohesive look throughout your home. Bespoke glazed fire-rated versions can be quoted with an extended lead time.

Sizing

This glazed black door comes in the most popular standard imperial (1981mm high, 35mm thick) and metric (2040mm high, 40mm thick) sizes. With 20mm lippings, standard doors can be trimmed by up to 16mm from any edge. This gives you a generous 32mm maximum trim in width or height.

With this variety of sizes and generous trim, it’s easy to get the perfect fit. Available in bespoke sizes on an extended lead time.

Sustainability

The Surrey black glazed 2 panel door is sourced in a sustainable manner and bears the FSC® Mix certification granted by the Forest Stewardship Council (INT-COC-003944.500). This certification shows this internal door is created using responsibly procured materials from FSC-certified forests, recycled content, and adheres to FSC regulations regarding timber sourcing.

Questions about Surrey Black Oak Clear Glass - Prefinished Internal Doors

Can you mix black and white doors in a house?

Yes, you can mix black and white doors in a house. There's no rule that doors need to be the same colour. Mixing door colors can add visual interest and style to your home, allowing for creative and personalised design choices. However, glazed doors are also a great option if you want to create a bright and airy feel.

How much can you take off an oak veneer door?

Due to the generous 20mm solid wood lippings, you can take off approximately 16mm from each side of these oak veneer doors due to the solid wood lippings. This means the overall adjustment to either the width or height is 32mm. This allows some adjustment while maintaining the door's structural integrity and appearance.
