Questions about 813x2032x35mm (32") Pattern 10 White - Obscure Glass Door

How much can you trim off a door?

The standard option of these doors has a 10mm lipping that allows for a 5mm trim. The fire rated option has a 15mm lipping, allowing 10mm trim on 3 sides of the door. Ths fire door should not be trimmed on the top edge.

How much gap should you leave around a door?

A well-fitted standard door should have a 2mm gap on each side and at the top, while the gap at the bottom depends on flooring thickness. Appropriate gaps for fire rated doors vary depending on what has been tested, hence you should always consult the manufacturer's fire certificate.
