We offer wooden 4-panel doors with pine and oak finishes to suit any home. As well as traditional wooden 4-panel designs, we offer contemporary shaker style 4-panel doors.
Oak is generally favoured for its undertones which can range from subtle reds to rich yellows. If you’re looking to add a sense of warmth to your home, an oak 4-panel internal door is a perfect choice. The Eton 4-Panel oak door is a perfect example of the traditional aesthetic an oak door can offer.
Pine’s natural light grain is popular for its ability to brighten up rooms that don’t get a lot of natural light. As well as Clear 4 Panel Pine Doors we have 4 Panel Knotty Pine Doors which offer a more rustic, natural addition to your home.
White internal doors are a great way to add a modern twist to a traditional design, as you’ll see in our 4 Panel White door with Bolectional Moulds.
As well as prefinished white 4-panel doors, we offer many white-primed 4-panel doors. Primed doors are perfect if you want to add your own final coat of colour to match your decor.
4-Panel doors are mostly known for their sense of Victorian charm, but we’ve added a modern twist that makes them perfect for every home. Single Bifold doors are the perfect option when space it at a premium, such as our 4 Panel White Bifold door. That’s not to say you can’t still enjoy the traditional design, as shown with our Oak Bifold door, which mimics the look of a more traditional door when fully closed.
Able to simply fold to one side of the doorframe, our 4-panel bi-fold doors help you maximise space and their glazing options let you make the most of any natural light you can.
You’ll find glazed options across all of our 4-panel options, like our Oak Victorian Shaker 4-Panel which gives a wonderful country charm, or more modern options such as our Oak Shaker with 4 frosted glass panels.
Glazing is a perfect choice when you’re looking to add some extra light to your home and our toughened glass ensures durability.
The advantages of Engineered Wood
Across our 4-panel door range, we use engineered wood. At Vivid Doors, we favour engineered wood because it offers the visual appeal of a solid wooden door without the extra maintenance requirements and hefty price tag.
Engineered wood creates a solid core of bonded wood which is then finished with a solid layer of wood. This means unless you want to tell people, they’ll be unable to guess it isn’t solid wood. Unlike solid wood, engineered wood isn’t prone to warping so it’s guaranteed to last and won’t require regular maintenance.
You can find finished, unfinished and primed doors in our 4-panel door range so you have full control of your doors finished appearances.
What is a pre-finished door?
Pre-finished doors are finished before they arrive, such as the Bury 4 Panel Oak Door. They’re ready to hang as soon as they arrive and don’t require any additional work on your part.
What is an unfinished door?
Unfinished doors will arrive without any paint or varnish and will need to be finished by yourself or a hired professional before they’re ready to hang. While they require some additional work, like the Regency 4 Panel Hardwood Door, they give you full control over your finish.
This isn’t to say you need to change the colour though, as you can finish them with a clear varnish that makes the natural look of the wood pop.
What is a primed door?
Primed doors, like the 4 Panel White Shaker, come with an even, all-over finish ready for you to finish painting at home. They’re great if you want to add a splash of colour to either match your existing decor or create a real style statement.
FD30 Rated Fire Doors
Many of our 4-panel doors aren’t just aesthetically pleasing, they’re also safety conscious. You’ll find FD30 rated fire doors across much of our range which are certified to prevent the passage of smoke and fire for a minimum of thirty minutes.
FD30 rated fire doors are recommended in areas at higher risk of fire, such as kitchens. They can also be beneficial in rooms connected to hallways as they can prevent escape routes from becoming blocked by spreading fire.
