When you're looking to let light and energy flow through your home, installing an internal glazed door is a simple step to take.
Choosing a half-glazed door is an excellent way to draw sunlight through your home, without you having to resort to reconfiguring your home by moving walls.
If you are renovating your property and looking for a way to make each room feel lighter, brighter and bigger, choose an internal glazed door. We we have a huge selection to suit almost any room.
Choose from a number of different window designs depending on the room you are working on – from full-length panels that would look great in a dining room to much smaller panes that let in light but still offer comparatively good soundproofing and privacy. There is something for everyone. The frosted glass designs are ideal for studies, bathrooms, and other areas where privacy is an important consideration.
If you want to bring two rooms together, then a clear glass panel will give you complete visibility from one space into the next. It will allow maximum sunlight to shine through and will help build a sense of flow through your home.
If you’d rather maintain a sense of privacy between rooms, a frosted glass internal door will let the light slip through but will obscure the visibility between the rooms. This is great if you have a small room without much natural light flow but you don’t permanently want the space exposed. A dark ensuite or bathroom could benefit from frosted glass.
Our glazed doors are made with toughened glass for maximum safety. Toughened glass is treated at incredibly high temperatures to give it added strength and stability.
With a toughened safety glass panel there is no need for you to worry about the resilience or durability of your glazed door. It is just as safe and secure as a solid wood door is.
We have a selection of glazed fire doors that are FD30 rated. This means they are able to withstand fire, flames and smoke for up to 30 minutes.
If you are fitting an internal glass door upstairs in a 3 or more storey property, or you have a loft conversion, then you may need to use an FD30 rated door. There are some other scenarios where fire doors may be required as well. If you are not sure what you need, we recommend that you speak to an expert.
Our oak glazed internal doors are easily the most popular in our range, but we have an extensive collection of other colours to choose from too.
Our walnut glazed doors are much loved by interior designers, while our white primed doors offer absolute versatility. One quick coat of paint and our white glazed internal doors will fit effortlessly into the most unusual or unique of design schemes.
If you’re looking for something a little more individual, with the convenience of a prefinished door, then we also stock fully finished oak veneer, chocolate grey and black internal glazed doors too.
Installing a glass panel internal door is a great way to bring the flow of open living to your home.
If you really want to open your home up, many of our glazed interior doors work well in pairs, to make a set of French doors that will bring added freedom and flexibility to your space.
