The Jeld-Wen Paint Grade FD30 44mm Internal Fire Door offers reliable fire protection and a smooth, paint-ready surface for versatile interior applications. These doors are perfect for temporary fire doors too, being a cost effective solution.

Designed to meet FD30 fire resistance standards, this door provides 30-minute fire protection, tested to BS476: Part 22: 1987 and Certifire CF192 approved. Its flush face construction features softwood stiles and rails, complemented by hardwood lippings on both long edges for added durability. The tubular chipboard core ensures strength while maintaining a lightweight feel.

Supplied unfinished, this door is ideal for painting, though staining is not recommended. It allows for maximum trimming of 6mm from the bottom and 4mm from each long edge, while the top edge must remain untrimmed to preserve fire certification.

For installation, intumescent strips must be fitted to the top and sides of the door or frame to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations. Cutting apertures or glazing on-site is not permitted but can be completed by a BWF-Certifire licensed processor.

With a 10-year guarantee against manufacturing defects, the Jeld-Wen Paint Grade FD30 44mm Fire Door is a dependable choice for fire-rated internal applications, offering safety, reliability, and a professional finish.
