Black evokes feelings of elegance and will act a stylish addition to the existing colour scheme of your home.
Our doors are made with engineered timber which gives the beautiful aesthetic of natural wood, with additional strength and stability. Unlike a solid wood door, engineered wood does not warp or split so it will last longer.
Engineered wood is made by bonding layers of wood to create a strong core, with a final layer of natural wood added on top. Visually, the door will look just like a solid wood door but with none of the downsides.
We offer a variety of door sizes so there’s one to fit every doorway. To make sure you choose the right door, you can read our measuring guide here.
Our fire doors are sold without hardware so you can install hardware that perfectly matches the rest of your home.
Safety in your home is paramount which is why we’re proud to offer so many of our stylish door designs as FD30 rated fire doors.
If a door is marked with an FD30 specification it means that it has been specifically built to resist fire for a minimum of thirty minutes. This means in the unfortunate event of a household fire, such as in the kitchen, you can block the room off and safely leave your home before calling the fire department. All of our fire doors are 44mm thick for added protection.
The main purpose of a fire door is to provide a barrier between the fire and give you time to escape.
In some properties, fire doors are a legal requirement.
To be compliant with fire safety regulations, fire doors are necessary in homes more than two stories to separate the stairwell and habitable rooms. They’re also required in loft conversions and between a house and garage.
In business and residential mixed buildings, the separate areas need to be separate by fire doors.
For non-domestic buildings, there are a number of requirements that need to be carefully checked and met.
It’s highly recommended in domestic properties, to place a fire door between the kitchen and other rooms, including garages. This is because kitchens are the most likely place for a fire to start
Our fire doors come in a wide variety of styles and sizes so you can always find a door to suit your home’s style. We’re proud to offer high-quality doors at an affordable price point.
As well as a variety of sizes, all of our internal fire doors have 18mm lippings so they can be trimmed to fit non-standard sized doorways. This is especially perfect for period properties that use different specifications than modern properties.
Our customer service is second to none and our friendly team is on hand to help at every step. Our team will be available to help you from choosing your door through to aftercare support.
The price you see is the price you pay. All of our prices are inclusive of VAT so there’s no additional cost when you get to the checkout.
We keep our standard sized doors in stock so they’re ready to deliver quicker. Our doors are generally delivered within 3-7 working days so you never have to wait long to hang your new door.
On deliveries over £750 we offer free delivery and a range of delivery pricing depending on how many doors you are purchasing. You can find out more about delivery on our delivery page here.
