Brands

We supply a selection of concertina doors and interior bifold door products from the UK’s best brands, including:

We are confident that you will be able to find the best door for your needs, whatever your budget.

Sizing

We offer a variety of the most popular sizes to ensure safety and practicality without compromising on design. Additionally, our bifold interior doors can be trimmed to achieve the ideal fit for your space. Whether you're outfitting a large living area or a compact closet, our doors are designed with flexibility in mind.

Many of the designs can be trimmed on both the width and height. If you have an unusually sized door opening, you may still be able to find a door that can fit if your door size differs by no more than 50mm in height or width. Be sure to measure the door cavity carefully before making a purchase.

Professional Installation

To ensure the best fit and operation, we recommend that our internal bi folding doors are fitted by a qualified professional tradesperson. Proper installation ensures smooth operation and long-lasting durability, so you can enjoy the benefits of your bifold doors for years to come.

Internal Bifold Door Opening Patterns

Bifold doors come in a range of sizes and designs. Most of the doors we stock are either three-leaf or four-leaf doors in 2/0, 4/0, 3/3, 4/1, 5/1,3/0, 2/1, 3/1, 5/0 or 2/2 configurations. These configurations describe the positioning of the doors and how they hinge and open.

This will help you plan the layout of the room and work out how much space opening each door will provide. In general, smaller configurations are smoother and easier to operate. Almost all options on screen have a daily access door so you don’t have to open the internal bifolding doors to get through.

Style and Practicality Combined with Frenchfold Doors

Frenchfold doors have a central opening access door. This means that you can enjoy all the benefits of an internal French door, with the flexibility of a folding door when you need it.

Internal bi fold doors are a good way of maximising the available space in the room and allowing natural light in too. They make it easy to enjoy open plan space when you need it and are a space-saving way of creating large openings. There’s no need for a large long wall cavity for a sliding door. These doors will give you privacy and warmth in the winter while offering plenty of room, sunlight and airflow during the summer.

If you are not sure what size door you need, or you would like to know more about the features of each door in our range, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our customer service team who will be happy to discuss the range with you in detail.

Questions about Internal Bifold Doors

Do your internal bifold doors have safety glass as standard?

They most certainly can be, and when you shop with us, you can expect very short lead times. All you have to do is send us a link to the product Indeed they do. In fact, all of the internal and external bifold doors you’ll find on our website come with safety glazing as standard.

Do you offer made-to-measure internal bifold doors?

Unfortunately, we aren’t able to provide a made-to-measure bifold door solution. However, all of our internal sets can be trimmed to some extent by your joiner to fit snugly within its frame.

You can typically reduce each door leaf by 10mm on the width (multiplied by the number of doors purchased), and the whole set by 20-30mm on the height (depending on the set type).

The key here is to ensure that all of the doors are trimmed equally to make it practically impossible to know they’ve been trimmed.

In the instance that our frame sizes are slightly smaller than your opening, your joiner can pack out the frame, as this will usually be covered by the architrave.

If you see an internal bifold door that you like, please feel free to get in touch with us so that we can advise on whether it can be trimmed to fit your precise specifications.

What are the main differences between the internal bifolding systems you offer?

There are three main systems of internal bifold doors to choose from when you shop with us.

Two, the Roomfold Standard, and the Roomfold Grande, are hung at the top only, with little (or nothing) at floor level, whereas the other is hung at the top and has a low-level guide track at the bottom to ensure the doors operate smoothly.

Additional differences between the two top-hung systems, include differing ironmongery systems; with the Roomfold Grande offering almost external grade stainless steel hardware.

What do internal bifold doors cost?

The average cost of interior bifold doors ranges from under £150 to £1,500. Prices vary based on material, size, glazing, number of panels and design features.
